Nothing can beat shopping in Singapore where markets, bazaars and gigantic malls are plentiful. A shopping excursion would not be complete without a visit to the Suntec City Complex Shopping Centre. More of a shopping city than a mall, the Suntec covers a whopping 888,000 immaculate square feet with thousands of fascinating shops, a great selection of coffee bars, restaurants and pubs plus cinemas, discos and other entertainment facilities.
For something a little different, Little India provides a rainbow of shopping delights. While beautiful silks, bangles and brass are the specialties almost everything under the sun can be purchased at the markets in the area. One definite highlight of Little India is a visit to the Indian spice grinders, an authentic traditional practise that rarely exists anymore.
