As is one of the remotest villages in Tenerife, Taganana is famed throughout the globe for it’s local produce, most notably it’s Rose Wine and fresh fish. Tucked away in the far north east of the island, after a journey along serpentine mountain roads through ancient woodland, the tiny village with black sand beaches is well worth the wait. Enjoy some of the wonderful Rose Wine whilst gazing out across a seemingly endless ocean and sample some of the delicious fish dishes on offer made with produce fresh from the warm Mediterranean. It’s an unbeatable combination and a definite must-do when visiting Tenerife.
