For the best diving Spain has to offer go straight to the Illes Medes, a group of protected islets just off L’Estartit. Seven islands make up the Medes where you can explore the circus of marine life in pristine waters. The islets have been declared a Nature Reserve therefore, strict rules are enforced to ensure preservation so find a dive shop with the proper permits. If you’ve never dived before - this is a magical place to start, the kaleidoscope of the underwater world will blow you away, and if you’re a seasoned diver then you probably already know about the Illes Medes. Either way your dive will be an experience you’ll never forget!
