Girona, a great city and attraction in itself holds many cultural gems and highlights just waiting to be explored. Among them is the Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants, also home of the impressive archaeological museum. Although the structure is fascinating its own right, it is the contents that will wow you. Ancient Jewish tombstones that once stood in medieval Girona’s Hebrew community, Roman mosaics and prehistoric artefacts are among the top exhibits. Other cultural highlights in Girona include Museu d’ Art, Catedral and Esglesia de Sant Feliu.
