If skiing is not your thing, walking and hiking trails are also plentiful. Especially popular is the walk to the Pico del Veleta, the second highest peak. After the sun goes down, you can dance the night away, sample the countries finest tapas or delve into the gypsy history of the lively town of Granada, at the base of the mountain range.
