Ibiza - Boat Ride to Formentera

If Ibiza’s in-your-face tourism begins to wear thin and you feel in need of a little r&r before the next night of revelry it may be advisable to take the short (40min) ferry trip to the neighbouring island of Formentera. Here you’ll discover wonderful, quiet beaches and get a taste of pre commercial Balearic lifestyle. The pace is even slower than on Ibiza and the island is even more beautiful. Pine trees and white sandy beaches, windmills and quaint old churches – much of the island remains untouched. It is enough to make even the most ardent hedonist consider missing the last ferry back to Ibiza.
