Majorca - South East Coastline Coves and Ports

Majorca sightseeing, attractions and online travel guide

The south east coast of the islands is peppered with countless sandy coves and beaches that range from the popular Cala D’Or and Porto Cristo to virtually undeveloped beaches such as Cala Santanyi and Cala Mondrago. Porto Cristo is famous for its Aquarium and its proximity to the Caves of Drach and Caves of Hams. The former artists colony of Cala D’Or has a dramatic shoreline of high cliffs broken by quiet coves fringed by rocks and pine trees. Cala Santanyi offers fine sand and clean shallow waters ideal for young families whilst Est Trenc is a stretch of excellent sandy beach predominantly used by naturists.
