Spain - The Andalucian Villages Trail

Take a trail through the Andalucian villages and see how, 500 years after their departure, the Moorish influence upon this area is still strongly evident. Small, whitewashed houses with Moroccan style flat roofs and protruding chimneys cling to the narrow winding streets. Balconies are festooned with bright flowers and drying red peppers contrasting sharply against the dazzling white walls. Set amongst some of the most stunning scenery in Spain, these tiny villages, linked by a network of ancient centuries old pathways (Camino Reales) have barely been touched by the destructive hand of commercial tourism. A trail through the villages therefore allows the visitor to sample a piece of pure, undiluted Spain.
