In Tahiti there are many scuba diving companies, which provide visitors with enough experience to get them started. After a few lessons, tourists will be scuba diving away at sites such as Moorea, where visitors will get the chance to see many stingrays and sharks, but to name a few. Another place to go is the main island of Tahiti, where there are caves and many deep chasms for experienced divers to explore and for the less experienced, a few lagoons off the west coast, abound with smaller varieties of marine life.
