Taiwan - Hiking

As most of Taiwan’s terrrain is mountainous, hiking should definitely be on the list of things to do whilst in the country! The Yushan and Hsuehshan mountain range provide many a challenge for the avid mountaineer, while the less experience hiker should try a trek up the Alishan and Dongpu mountain range. Due to the changeable weather in Taiwan's mountains though, visitors need to bring enough food and clothing for any wet or cold conditions, which may occur.
