Taiwan's temple town, Tainan, located on the southwest coast of Taiwan, has been the provincial capital of the country for over two centuries. Visitors to the town will see many Buddhist festivals and parades, due to the number of temples located in Tainan. In nearby Luerhmen, there are three temples which are forever trying to compete with each other and are constantly being renovated to see who has the largest temple! Getting away from religion though, visitors can go to the nearby Woozland waterslide park or see the remains of Tainan’s city walls, and by evening Tainan turns into a lively nightspot!
