The world famous façade of the Houses of Parliament looks out regally over the Thames. The very seat of Britain’s government, the Houses of Parliament the House of Commons and the House of Lords. If you don’t mind a thorough search at the door then visitors can look in on proceedings from the Stranger’s Gallery in the House of Commons from Tuesday to Thursday and from 10am on a Friday. On entering the building – take in the spacious Westminster Hall to the left.
