With over 500 unique golf courses and home to the world famous St Andrew’s course, Scotland really is the home of golf. The avid golfer can choose from one of the many legendary courses such as the two 18-hole courses at Gleneagles and the historic Prestwick Old Golf Course - venue of the first Open Championship played in 1860 to name only two. A few rounds can be enjoyed at Letham Grange – boasting to be one of the premier courses in Scotland, or take in the view at the same time at one of the many seaside courses such as Gullane Golf Club or North Berwick West Golf Course. Take a golf tour around the country independently, or take an organised jaunt around Scotland’s magnificent courses with a touring company. Either way, Scotland is a golfer’s dream.
