Often pinpointed as one of the top ten beaches in the United Stated, Kailua is over a mile long of incredibly beautiful, pristine beach. With steady breezes blowing over the beach it is an ideal spot for windsurfers, sailors, canoeists and kayakers. Another big attraction to Kailua Beach is its safe waters for swimming and wading. If you do wish to try your hand at one of the water sports all equipment hire can be done on site. Just offshore lies a beautiful bird sanctuary on Popoia Island, either boat or kayak out, you won’t be disappointed.
