Make a trek across the mighty Golden Gate Bridge and you won’t be disappointed. Sausalito is the first town over the link making it an excellent spot for a day away from downtown San Francisco. However, if you’re looking to get away from the crowds this is not the place for you. With an incredible bayside location, this once sleepy fisherman’s town is now a hopping tourist attraction riddled with souvenir shops, waterfront cafes and high end galleries.
Just a tip: take the ferry over (or even better, your yacht!) – parking can be horrendous.
