Whether your taste is trendy or traditional, eclectic or brand-driven San Francisco is a shopper's paradise. Shopping in San Francisco is centered around Union Square. It is here you find the major department stores such as Nordstoms, occupying the top five floors of the San Francisco Shopping Center, Macy’s and Emporium. New on the American shopping scene are what are known as mega or super-stores like Nike Town, Warner Brothers and Borders Books, these can all be found around the park square as well. For another treat, take the St. Francis' glass elevators all the way to the top where you find the OZ nightclub and look out over the panoramic view. If you love a shopping frenzied atmosphere teeming with crowds then head to Union Square.
