This is where its all happening, Caracas, Venezuela’s capital, full of life, energy and wealth. Wherever there is wealth though, there is poverty, with the more ramshackle area of the city situated in the hills. The city centre itself is full of skyscrapers, hotels and fancy restaurants but when it comes to actual architecture, there are few buildings to be seen, just a park and one or two museums and art galleries, due to the devastating earthquakes the city has endured and also the need for modernisation.
