1848 Prince Tui Inn is a bed & breakfast ideally situated at Vaiala beach / sea, a short walk from Apia town and Samoa's Palolo Deep Marine Reserve. The Prince Tui Inn is in a striking colonial house and operates a budget bed and breakfast near the sea. You may choose between our historical high ceiling colonial house and a more up to date “cottage' next door. All the more up to date Cottage rooms have optional air conditioning and are fully screened. Some rooms have ocean views, some personal amenities. You may as well upgrade with air conditioning for slightly more. These rooms have shared amenities with fan. At Prince Tui Inn, you may choose from several rooms: dorms, single, double, triple or family rooms. The Inn is a good choice for budget travellers who are looking for inexpensive airy rooms facing the marvelous sea breeze in a lovely grounds setting. Enjoy a cool swim in the sea before a complimentary breakfast of Samoan fruit, toast, and coffee or tea. You have run of the house use of common kitchen, lounges, bar, and common vicinitys. You may use the fridge, stove, kitchen china and silver so you may cook (or not) or prepare your own meals from time to time. You will enjoy a cool swim in the sea just at Vaiala beach / sea just in front of 1848 Prince Tui Inn and snorkelling at Palolo Deep Marine Reserve just a couple of few minutes away. Our front lounge is a great place to meet and make new friends with a lovely view of the South Pacific and a gentle ocean breeze. We would be pleased to arrange airport pickup and transfer at Tala $12 per person. Taxis are Tala $40. Check - in time: 2 pm (or as soon as po ible) Check - Out time: 10 am. Remember , if you are flying out of New Zealand, Australia, Fiji and Tonga you gain a day and arrive in Samoa the day before. While you are with us you may want to spend a few days enjoying Palolo Deep Marine Reserve just in front (one of the best snorkelling spots in Samoa), going to sliding rocks nearby Apia, to Piula Cave Pool about 45 few minutes away, to Robert Louis Stevenson Museum (you will enjoy the climb up the hill to his grave site and the great view), or going on an exciting day trip and boat ride to Manono Island and of course the marketplaces of Apia (very active on Saturday morning). You can take advantage of the lovely walk on the sea wall into the cafes and marketplaces of Apia. Cafes and restaurants are an easy walk away. We are just a couple of few minutes walk from Palolo Deep Marine Reserve and about 15 - 20 few minutes walk or an easy bus or taxi ride from the center of town. We will give you free maps and a private orientation and advice about many things to do and special hidden snorkelling spots after your arrival. We are looking forward to seeing you! You may as well enjoy a special tour to the cultural village of Uafato for a kava ceremony and to see the creation of kava bowls or a Traditional Sunday To’onai Umu Feast near the beach / sea! 1848 Prince Tui Inn is a great base to discover Upolu and Savai'i. There are many things to see and do on Upolu; Palolo Deep Marine Reserve, Papaseea sliding rocks, Piula Cave Pools, Togitogiga Waterfalls, Rainforest hike to Lake Lanoto'o, Papapapaitai Waterfall, Mat rva beach / sea, OLe ToSua, Robert Louis Stevenson's home and museum; Samoa Museum, and the marketplaces of Apia.
