Port Maria is the capital of the parish St. Mary. In earlier times Port Maria was one of the biggest exporters of Banana and sugarcane in Jamaica. It is a local and usual Jamaican town and we are one of only a few visitorhouses in the vicinity, perfect for visitors who want to experience the welcoming and helpful charm of the Jamaican people. There are many tourist highlights in the vicinity. In Port Maria you will find 2-3 lovely churches and the Cabarita Island in the bay. as well there is a local Saturday marketplace with fresh foods, fruits and vegetables. There is a little museum there and the view is breathtaking. as well you can discover one of the many plantations nearby Port Maria, or you do some horseback riding. There are a few restaurants, bars and clubs in the vicinity, mostly with local dishes, drinks and music’s. Each apartment has a bedroom with a double bed, toilet / wc/Shower, fully equipped kitchen, living room with a sofa bed and a terrace.
