Accommodation Description: In the middle of the Sicilian Ionio coastal, nearby Catania, we offer delightful apartments in the historic baroque center of ACIREALE or on the picturesque sea of ACITREZZA. ACIREALE: Independent apartments in the 18th century historical center of ACIREALE. The apartments consist of a bathroom, a furnished kitchen and a little yard or terrace with a view of Mt. Etna. Accommodation consists of one double bed (bedroom) and one double sofa bed (living room) for max 4 persons per apartment. All apartments have air conditioning and sky Television. Acireale is a baroque town just a few kilometers from Catania (10 min near car, 5 min near rail) known for its baroque, thermal springs, carnival and sea side position. In ten mins, you can reach the characteristic coastal (or you can walk along the winding 'chiazzette' paths that cro the 'Timpa' natural reserve) or visit picturesque fishermens’ villages. In 20 mins, you come to the famous 'Taormina', and in about 30 min. you reach the majestic 'Etna' (pa ing through villages lying at the foot of the mountain) Only 100 meters from your apartment you can find: parking, bus stop, shops, bar, restaurants, usual marketplace (fish and vegetable), and other things to see and to do and places to eat. CICLOPE: Apartment (3rd floor with lift) on the seaside of ACITREZZA. This is a famous fishing village (where our famous Giovanni Verga wrote 'I Malavoglia' a well known novel), with a striking view of the sea and of 'Faraglioni' (do you remember stones that Polifemo threw at Uly es?). This is a larger apartment catering for max 6 persons. It has two bed rooms (one double bed and one single bed + 1), a large living room with one double sofa bed, a kitchen and two bathrooms. There is as well Television, air conditioning, a washer, garage, and furnished terrace in front of the sea.
