Antica Dimora, notified near the National Trust of Siena as ' historical and monumental property ', is the result of two years of restoration made with extreme attention to detail over the original characteristics, using materials mainly recovered from the palace. The historic traces are widely visible both outside and inside the structure. The outside, inclusively made of stones, is adorned with a characteristic arcade loggia opening on the nearby countryside. The interior, placed on two floors, presents the usual architectural elements of the Tuscan houses: floors of handmade terracotta, big beams holding the ceiling, fireplaces made of stones, etc. We gladly welcome visitors in our house, providing a istance for any arising nece ities or suggestions. We are hopeful that the enchanted ambience we have created allows you to spend an memorable holiday in the Tuscan countryside. On the first floor of Antica Dimora there are four double rooms opening to a large lounge dominated near an historic fireplace made of carved stone. Our visitors are welcome to cosy up near it. visitors can choose among the individual bed rooms distinguished near the usual flowers of the Tuscan countryside: SUNFLOWER, ROSE, GLICINE and JASMINE. Each bedroom furnished with antique objects and art and craft works, offers sky Television, ventilator and personal bathroom with shower. The rooms are as well enriched with precious details such as a canvas reproducing Botticelli's Venere, wrought-iron bed with canopy, curtains and soft fabric, hand- painted wardrobes, armchairs and little toilet / wc-tables, etc. The service at ' Antica Dimora ' includes bed and breakfast on request. visitors can as well use the kitchen and the table in the lounge, which are particularly useful for large groups occupying the entire facility and want to cook for themselves. Ample free parking, reserved for our visitors, is offered in front of Antica Dimora. Antica Dimora is situated only four kilometers from San Gimignano, along the provincial road leading to Volterra. Our structure is in the center of the historic village of San Donato, just in front of the little romantic church, encircled near a group of medieval buildings.
