Dubrovnik offers immense and rich experiences to every visitor. The most important cultural event is the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, founded in the year 1950. For 45 days in the summer, there are numerous cultural events taking place in and around the old town part of Dubrovnik. The coastalal vicinity is very individual and rugged from little protected bays and sandy beach / seaes to cliffs that are constantly at the mercy of the open sea. This vicinity is a constantly changing landscape making it one of the most striking regions on the Mediterranean.
