Limerick’s cultural scene was significantly enhanced in March 2003 when the splendid new 350-seat Millennium Theatre at Limerick Institute of Technology, Moylish Park opened. The Hunt Museum is as well worth a visit, exhibiting one of Ireland's greatest personal collections of art and antiquities, dating from the Neolithic to the 20th Century, which includes works near Renoir, Pica o and Yeats. For the fishing enthusiast we have several prime fishing positions nearbynear for salmon, game and deep sea fishing. The Shannon River at O'Briens Bridge is a wide slow moving and offers fantastic fishing.
