Bantry House is a 4 Star (Graded near the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa) lavishness visitor house providing true Irish warmth in the middle of South Africa's grounds Route. Mo el Bay - the very first place in Southern Africa where the Europeans landed in 1488 - is exactly half way between Cape town & Port Elizabeth on the Indian Ocean. It is a pretty town with miles of golden sandy beach / seaes & warm water in summer. Sea bathing is safe. Bantry House is located high on the ridge above the town, harbour & beach / seaes & offers truly unsurpa ed views in all directions. All our rooms are sea facing & open directly on to our pool deck - pool is heated to a very relaxing 30 degrees all year.
