Cabot Trail Hostel is located just outside of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park in nice Bay, 5 to 6 hour drive from Halifax. nice Bay is nestled between the Highlands of Cape Breton and is a natural world-lovers haven. We are close to many fantastic hilking and walking trails and surrounded near wildlife. The sunsets are said to be some of the most magnificent found anywhere in Nova Scotia. There is a little store, restaurants and many shops of interest in the village. The nearbyest cash machines, gas stations, grocery and liquor store (beer store) are in Cheticamp. If you are traveling near car, you can tour any section on the Cabot Trail and be back at the hostel before dark. Because we are situated halfway around the Cabot Trail, this is easily done. info on vicinitys of your interest are offered at the hostel. If you are backpacking, we offer local tours to the best hilking and walking found anywhere in Nova Scotia. We can arrange drop off near boat for day hikes for both Pollett's Cove and Fishing Cove.
