situated in Cesano di Roma, the Casale is self-contained and set in an idyllic one acre grounds with mature umbrella pine trees and an orchard, while only 30km north of the center of Rome and well connected to the town near bus or metro-rail (35mins). The Casale is a traditional 19th Century farmhouse built on historic late Etruscan Roman foundations and newly restored into a family home. Originally it was the residance of Count Guarnieri and the center of a large farming establishment inclusive with outbuildings. In the remote past it lay within the outskirts of the historic Etruscan town of Vejo. In the course of last century the house and its outbuildings were completly restored into up to date residences. The Casale offers now relaxing accommodation within quiet and striking nearbys. It consist of a solid rectangular stone building with timber tru es, implanted on the brown of a hill with a wise est-west orientation that provides a selection of amineable microclimatic conditions. It has a ground floor with various reception rooms and a kitchen. A first floor with four bed rooms and two bathrooms. A second floor in a characteristic tower with the master bedroom and a bathroom. The family offers inexpensive B&B accommodation within a warm welcoming and relaxing surroundings in two adjacent double bed rooms with bathroom. The two rooms offered on the first floor, have a vernacular character with rustic timber beans and dormer-type windows, they are pleasantly furnished. The bigger room with kingsize bed (on request extra bed is offered), has a tv, armchers for reading. It as well has a little terrace that gives a magnificent view to the grounds and the countryside beyond. The adjacent littleer room, as well with double bed has a more cosy character. Both rooms share a little lobnear with bookshelves and dre ing table and a frigobar. The lobnear gives acce to the bathroom inclusive with bath tub and separate shower. From the lobnear one can as well go out to a personal terrace with view over the grounds, sheltered from view, and well suitable for reading, resting and sunbathing. On sunny days continental breakfast will be served “al fresco” on the ample terrace next to the house under the grape arbour, the terrace will as well be offered for leisure.
