Welcome to our hostel, Brisbane town Backpackers. This is the closest hostel to the Roma Street Transit center which is just 400 meters. Additionally, staff are offered 24 hours a day and you may deposit your valuables with reception for safekeeping. town Backpackers conducts a job workshop 3 times weekly. This service is free and covers how to find a job in Brisbane, tax and tax file numbers and most importantly, some simple things you can do to help yourself. We register each person attending the workshop, so that jobs telephoned into our reception can be directed to the appropriate person. We as well use the job workshop to screen candidates to work in the hostel. Positions such as bar, reception and cleaning have the benefits of board and beer in addition to a wage! At town Backpackers we believe that backpacking isn't just about seeing the attractions, it's about meeting people! The Fiddler's Elbow is a real pub with real pub entertainment that opens every night till late. Something individual every night! Our backpacker fuel is the cheapest around! And if you want to just cook yourself something to eat, you can do so in our roomy kitchen with stainle steel surfaces, large Refrigerators and food lockers. You can then enjoy your meal on the terrace while taking in the views of the river and town.
