located in Koutouloufari, one of the traditional hill villages looking over the beach / sea resort of Hersoni os, Creta Blue is a newly opened boutique hotel comprising 28 suites of varying sizes. The accommodation stands on the edge of the village, in a quiet spot with panoramic views down to the coastal, yet is only a short stroll to the village center, where you will find several appealing tavernas. organised in several little, whitewashed buildings, the accommodation is divided into four categories. All room types are rather stylishly furnished, and all are equipped with individual air-conditioning units, sky Television and safety deposit boxes. Each has a full bathroom, with suites imported from Italy, hairdryers and make-up mirrors. Each as well incorporates a little kitchenette, handy for chilling drinks or fruit or fixing a light snack, and all the rooms enjoy great views from their balconies or terraces. The Junior Suites are open-plan, with a little sitting vicinity. luxury Suites have a sleeping vicinity on an open mezzanine, with the sitting vicinity underneath, whilst the Executive Suites have a lounge and a separate bedroom. The Penthouse Suites as well benefit from jacuzzi bathtubs in their bathrooms. With the exception of the Junior Suites, all rooms can accommodate up to 4 people. The freshwater swimming pool at Creta Blue is designed so that the edge of the pool seems to merge with the sea down below. relaxing sun-loungers are provided on the adjacent terrace, and there is an attractive pool bar where snacks and refreshments are offered throughout the day (breakfast is as well served here in the mornings). In the evening, this becomes an atmospheric, candlelit spot for unwinding over a nightcap and enjoying the views down to Hersoni os. Those simply planning to unwind in stylish nearbys will find little need to venture further than Koutouloufari's village center, but for those who enjoy the occasional change of pace, the bustling resort of Hersoni os - and its bars, shops, restaurants and beach / seaes - can easily be reached using the local fun rail. This makes Creta Blue perfect for families with older children who want easy acce to all the amenities of a lively resort, whilst enjoying accommodation in a more quiet, traditional setting. This vicinity is as well very handy for visiting the famous Minoan site of Kno os and Heraklion's Arch ological Museum. Furthermore, it is just 5km from island's only 18-hole golf course, the Creta Golf Club.
