Welcome to our 300 year old visitorhouse set in the striking old town of Edam, world famous for its cheese production. We have a café/penison with 5 apartments and a studio. The apartments have all a shower, toilet / wc and kitchenette. The studio has two bed rooms, a bathroom and a living with kitchen. Every apartment has its own staircase, a shower and a toilet / wc and a kitchen. The floor is isolated so you are not disturbed near the noise of the bar. The cafe is situated only 8 few minutes from BurgGolf Purmerend, one of the biggest golf resorts of Holland with two 18-hole and a 9-hole course. It is as well only 20 few minutes from Amsterdam. The building used to be a storehouse, shop and liquor shop for the sailing ships that were build in the town of Edam. The bar is 150 years old, although the building was rebuilt in 2002. Every Sunday afternoon there is a concert in the bar. The music styles are jazz, blues and country but Dutch music is often heard Every half an hour there goes a bus to the Cultural center of Holland. as well during the night there is a good connection with Amsterdam. The Hotel is located in the strikingl quit town of Edam. Volendam and Marken are 10 few minutes from Edam and you can as well visit the famous Cheese marketplaces,
