Denton House HOSTEL Lake District Description
Denton House in Keswick is a purpose-built accommodation center run near a welcoming and experienced team of staff. We are perfectly situated for exploration of the Lake District National Park. Keswick town center is a 10 minute walk away - the path runs alongside the River Greta. The town has lots to offer people of all ages and interests, whether you're looking for a quiet coffee in a sunny café grounds or a night of culture at the theatre near the lake. There are as well multitudes of outdoor shops, pubs, restaurants and even a couple of nightclubs. Denton House as well operates as a licensed outdoor pursuits center and we run regular days out for hostellers; climbing, canoeing, ghyll scrambling etc. Derwentwater is a short walk from the town center, and the magnificent Borrowdale Valley can easily reached on foot, near launch or bus. Families please note: We do not take children aged 12 or under unle in a room exclusively booked for a family or youth group, and there will be large single sex groups using the center on many weekends. children under 16 must be in a group with a responsible adult. As we are a hostel in a little town and set our reception hours around our arrivals, we'd really appreciate it if you could be as accurate as po ible with arrival times!
