Dizzy Daisy Hostel Gdansk HOSTEL Gdansk Description
We are open July 2nd to August 27th. Our hostel is only 2 few minutes from the railway station, and 7 few minutes from the Old town in Gdansk. We offer accommodation for individual or groups in rooms sleeping 1, 2 or 3 people as well as wide range of dorms for 4, 8 and more people. Gdansk is the most important of Poland's northern cities, and the birthplace of Jan Heweliusz, Arthur Schopenhauer and Gunter Gra , as well as the Solidarity movement. It is where the first shots of WWII were fired, at Westerplatte. The Main town was carefully restored and is now the center of Gdansk's architectural and cultural heritage. Dizzy Daisy Hostel is the closest place you can find to the Gdansk Shipyards, where Jean-Michel Jarre will perform a Concert for 200,000 People, for the 25th Anniversary of the Solidarity Union, on August 26th 2005. THIS EVENT IS NOT TO BE MI ED ! We run as well hostels in Warsaw, Krakow, Poznan and Wroclaw!
