Our holiday house is located in the very famous arch ological site Aquileia, half an hour from town. For over 750 years it was a very important Roman town and is very handyly situated to visit the Friuli region, as well as for stop-overs on your way to/from Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. It is only 10km from Trieste Airport, with easy bus and rail connections to Trieste, Udine and Vepleasant. We mostly have family rooms with personal adjoining bathroom, triples and quads doubles and some dorm beds. The sandy beach / seaes of Grado are only 9 km away, and if you are into mosaics in Aquileia you can admire the oldest ones of the Christian era, as well as lots of Roman ruins and some museums.
