The Edinburgh Backpackers Hostel has it all. position, welcoming staff, relaxing beds, inexpensive prices, an international and lively ambience and did I mention a superb position. located in a 18th century building in the middle of the historic Old town on Edinburgh’s funkiest Street, our hostel is situated 50 meters from the Royal Mile and le than 2 minute’s walk from the rail station and airport shuttle bus. This means we’re ideally positioned in the middle of Edinburgh’s many highlights and wild nightlife. We have bright, clean and roomy dorm rooms and a few personal rooms, which are situated in our main building, and some have splendid views down Cockburn Street or over the Edinburgh skyline. We as well have a large number of other personal rooms housed in self-catering apartments in two separate buildings on the same street. These tend to be a bit quieter and are quite popular with couples or little groups The Hostel has a 24-hour reception and there is no curfew so you are free to discover the town until all hours in the morning. We as well have a large self-catering kitchen, pool room, chill out room with Sky Television. If you don’t feel like cooking there is café/bar attached to the Hostel called the Southern Cro Café. Come here for a unwinding drink, or to do some emailing on the web access. We have an extensive menu and a wide range of drinks to offer. All Hostel visitors as well receive a 15% discount off their food bill.
