European Hostel is centrally situated south of marketplace (soma) vicinity between Downtown and the Castro, close to all the main highlights and sites. We are as well just three blocks to the Cable Cars, Convention centre and the San Francisco Visitor's Bureau, walking distance to Union Square, China town, town Hall, Public Library, and Civic centre. Public transport, BART stations, Muni buses etc are just block away, and just two blocks away are all the main night clubs, bars and exotic restaurants. European Hostel is an old Victorian building with 24 hours acce , Television lounge, full kitchen with complimentary morning coffee, and a roof grounds with a great view for the visitors. The hostel is clean, quiet and cosy. Car parking offered at low prices. we do not have our own parking... but there are plenty of paking garages around the vicinity. We are keeping our prices low for backpakers and students, so you can use the cash for the other use while you are visiting one of the most striking town on the earth. You can see that other hostels are charging alot higher prices, you can compare yourself and decide. We accept visa, mastercard and explore only. we have .90 cents surchage for the credit card transactions. Off couse you can as well pay cash or traveler's check. Please note that our office is closed from 2.00a.m-6.00 a.m everyday. If you need to check out between this time please consult with the desk person night before your check-out, so we can arrange your need. we have WIFI web access acce in our building.
