Our beach / seaes rate top ten for the USA. This is a striking, safe, island resort hostel. You can walk to shopping, pubs, night life, restaurants, the beach / sea and scenic vicinitys. The little town feel on Clearwater beach / sea makes for a refreshing change from some of the more crowded vicinitys in Florida We have a lovely swimming pool and tropical grounds with plenty of common seating vicinitys and lounge chairs for socialising, eating, sun-tanning, and unwinding around the pool and our shaded tiki huts. We as well provide you with lots of toys to borrow. Some of these are canoes (the canoes are free, but you will need to provide us with a security deposit) to discover mangrove islands, secluded beach / seaes and remote inland waterways of Clearwater Bay. as well we have beach / sea balls for the pool, soccer balls (there is a soccer field just around the corner), basket balls (this court is 1/2 block walk), tennis racquets and balls (2 blocks walk, free use), volley balls for the beach / sea courts (beach / sea is 2 1/2 blocks), frisbees, games (che , monopoly, trivia, cards, backgammon, etc...). Accommodation Description: We invite you to sit for a spell on the swing on our large front porch and unwind. Take a peek at the large goldfish in our little pond, walk acro the wide open landscaped front yard. Enter the house that was the home of E.B. Alling, a well-known Orange town mayor, for over 40 years. You will find the house has been well preserved and is decorated in a relaxing Victorian style that reflects its heritage. Each room has a personal bathroom with oversized towels and fluffy robes for your comfort. The common vicinity on the second floor is offered to unwind in, watch tv, read, and play games or acce the web access. This vicinity as well contains an ice machine and a little fridge with drinks and snacks. We have three rooms in the main house. All rooms are priced at double occupancy, which means that the cost is the same regardle of whether it is two people or one person. The Green Room has a personal bathroom with a shower and has a queen-sized bed. The Gold Room has a personal bathroom with a shower and has a queen-sized bed. A roll-away bed can be added for an additional charge. The Rose Room has a very large personal bathroom with a shower and a whirlpool tub. It as well has a king-sized bed. Accommodation Description: Our hostel is situated downtown in the historic district in a building dating from 1915 inclusive with wood floors and high ceilings. We have a 6-bed female dorm, an 8-bed male dorm, and a 7 bed co-ed dorm in addition to 4 personal rooms (Pirate Room, Jungle Room, explorey Room, and Tropical Fish Room). We have a rooftop patio with gas grill, common kitchen with all appliances, common room with DVD/VHS. Our central position means that food and nightlife abound within a short walking distance from the hostel, as well as numerous shops and galleries. We are 1 hour away from Daytona, so if you want to see an event in Daytona (Bike Week, Daytona 500, etc.) but don't want to pay for an overpriced motel there, come stay with us, and we're two hours from the Kennedy Space center. St. Augustine is America's oldest continuously inhabited town. The impre ive Castillo de San Marcos has never been taken in war, though the British laid siege to it in 1702 and 1743. The vicinity is brimming with history that comes alive during the recurring re-enactments of pirate raids and both British and Spanish night watches, and the black powder cannon firings at the fort on weekends after Memorial Day. The Colonial Spanish Quarter is a must see for interested students of history.
