It is a 10 minute walk from the main beach / sea and there are as well six other beach / seaes within relaxing walking distance. There is no need to have a long, dark walk home at night after your bar hopping adventures. We are a family run hostel where everybody is made to feel at home and all your needs are catered to. From the time you arrive to the time you depart you become part of the Francescos family. There is an air-conditioned terrace bar with sky tv and breakfast café which overlooks the port, beach / sea, and one of the best sunset views on the island, as you can see in the photo. All visitors are invited for a free welcome drink and a chance to meet fellow travellers in our welcoming bar to start their first night on Ios. None of our visitors ever pay the cover charge at the famous Ios Blue Note, one of the most popular clubs on the island. Some of the facilities which are offered at Francesco's include 24-hour hot water, a new reception vicinity with web access cafe, tourist info and info on boat and plane tickets etc. , and all visitors are encouraged to make use of our free safety deposit boxes. We as well have an extensive travellers book exchange and no curfew or lock outs to disrupt your night or day. There are double, triple, and quad rooms offered for up to 150 people. All rooms have been newly renewed. Most have personal bathrooms and there are as well rooms offered with shared amenities. All personal rooms have air conditioning, tvs and teletelephones. A number of rooms have personal balconies with ocean views. There are as well dorm beds offered for solo travellers. All rooms are serviced daily as we pride ourselves on how spotle ly clean our accommodation is, we realize what a difference this makes to a visitors stay. On your day of checkout we offer free left luggage and free showers if you decide to go to the beach / sea and have an afternoon or night ferry to catch. After you make your reservation with us all you have to do is either e mail or call us with your boat details and our driver Matthew will pick you up from the boat free of charge, and as well drop you off when you are leaving, which is as well for free. So don't waste any time guys and girls get reservation and we hope to see you during the summer. And please remember book early for July and August as this is an extremely busy period for us.
