Gay Hostel and Apartments Antinous HOSTEL Granada Description
Brand new in Granada center (opened on March 1st)! Whether you want to meet people or merely kick back and enjoy your own company, come to Antinous, a new concept in Spanish gay-lesbian accommodation that you can’t help but love! Antinous is a usual Granada townhouse (with an apartment for up to 4 people [two double beds offered, select 4 Bed personal en suite], dorms and double rooms starting from 18 Euros). Its founders are creative and welcoming and eager to provide their visitors with an insight into the individual rhythms of life in Granada near sharing their intimate knowledge of the town. As our visitor you are granted full use of all our amenities, which includes our shared lounge and shared kitchen, perfectly suited for unwinding, watching a film, listening to music, or dining together and getting to know your fellow visitors. We as well boast a roof terrace where you can sit out in the cool of the evening over a bottle of wine, and take in the incomparable views of the sun setting pink against the snowy slopes of the Sierra Nevada and the town stretched out below… For, as the famous saying goes: “There is nothing worse in this life, than the pain of being blind in Granada.” Granada is truly a jewel in the crown of Andalucia, a individually soulful and romantic town whose rich history, myths and folklore long ago intermingled, becoming indistinguishable from one another… Antinous is situated right in its middle, nestled, quite literally, in the shadow of the unparalleled splendour and majesty of the Alhambra – only 100m from the hostel. as well no more than a five-minute walk away, you can lose yourself for hours in the narrow, winding streets of the Albayzin, (now a UNESCO World Heritage Site) a mysterious lanearrinth of usually white-washed houses, secret walled groundss and hidden, babbling fountains... Granada is as well an perfect place to eat, drink and be merry, and the streets around Plaza Nueva and Calle Elvira (le than a one-minute walk away from the hostel) are brimming with tapas bars where you can try the local cuisine – a complementary sample of which you get with every drink! You could as well take a stroll through the Caldeler a, an vicinity full of Moorish tea shops and crafts, or enjoy the raw pa ion and naked emotion of a flamenco show in the caves of Sacramonte, home of Granada’s famous Gypsy population. Later, you could move on to the Carrera del Darro, the vicinity nearby the River Darro, (muse of the poet and up to date-day gay icon Federico Garc a Lorca) where you will see yet another side of this amazingally varied town. This vicinity is now home to much of the gay-lesbian night-scene that rarely (if ever!) sleeps; so you can party hard until the sun comes up on another striking day… Come to Antinous and taste the irresistible charm of Granada with us. antinousgranada()ho tmail.com Check-in times: 8 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm.
