Glencoe Hostel & Bunkhouse HOSTEL Glencoe Description
Glencoe hostel & Bunkhouse is set in 4 acres of land in the picturesque valley of Glencoe, surrounded near mountains is a rural farmhouse which caters for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. The accommodation is suitable for large or little groups, couples and singles. This is split into three sections: Glencoe Hostel sleeps a total of 18 people, this has three bed rooms all of which sleep 6 people, it has toilet / wcs and showers and a large kitchen, there is as well a drying room. The Cottage which is seperate, but adjoins the farmhouse sleeps a total of 12 and is split into four rooms, 1 sleeps 8, 1 sleeps 4 , the living room has an open log fire there is a kitchen a shower, toilet / wc and a drying room.This is only offered for groups of 12 and is for a minimum 2 night stay. Glencoe bunkhouse is totally separate and can sleep up to 24 people. This is suitable mainly for large groups and has as well got cooking amenities and showers and toilet / wcs. Caravans sleep from 4 people and are all fully self contained and heated. Glencoe is an perfect place to come walking climbing or cycling there are many lochs and hills which includes secluded vicinitys that can only be reached on foot. There are many other things to do such as fishing (permit required), golf, touring, museums, water sports center, swimming in the river pools and many outdoor activity centers. The new indoor ice climbing wall has opened which is a short distance away from us. We do have a little selection of bikes to rent. We as well have a selection of local walks offered, there is web access acce at realistic rates, and we as well provide a pay telephone and sell a few products. Packed lunches are as well offered for those who require them. There is as well a pub 10 few minutes walk away with live music. The hostel is curhirely being refurbished near new owners, we would like to thank everybody who has stayed with us this past 6 months, for your patience and under standing.THANKYOU.
