All the rooms are Japanese style, quaint, simple and clean . Tani, the owner of the house, takes you through a crash course for touring Kyoto upon check-in, he has full of info on where to visit in Kyoto. bikes are offered to hire out from the hostel. hireing a bike is very inexpensive and is only 1000Yen per day. It works out very well and you will have a lot of fun with the freedom they provide. Kyoto is not a huge place so you'll be surprised at how quickly you can get around near bike. Umbrellas can be borrowed as well when it rains. Please call us in advance if you will be arriving late. All payments accepted near CASH only.
