Our hostel is situated north of downtown Halifax, only 5 few minutes walk to the waterfront and all the other main facilities. Halifax Backpackers is owned near two young and experianced backpackers. We provide a welcoming, private ambience based on our own travel experiances. We are the only hostel that provides insider local info (because we are locals!). We offer personal and dorm rooms at very realistic prices. For your convenience we have an onsite organic fairtrade cafe and second-hand bookstore. We as well have Friday night Barbeques making it easy to meet other travelers. Tuesday night is 'Ultimate frisbee' night. Halifax Backpackers exemplifies the gra roots community spirit that makes Halifax worth visitng. Hours 8am - 8pm (Please call to make arrangements outside of these hours.
