Accommodation Description: Gecko Bushpackers is located in the Sabie Valley, Mpumalanga Province in South Africa. It is a great place with lush nearbys and a tranquil ambience. We can prove that good prices can go together with good and a private service. Our showers are the best in town and the dorms and double rooms are roomy and clean. You can unwind at the splash pool, play a game of darts, che or pool or join us for a drink in our fully stocked bar. And you never have to be bored! There is plenty to do in the vicinity. Guided bushwalks are done on our premises, while other things to do such as quad biking, horse riding, abseiling and river rafting are organized close near. You can cook for yourself in the self catering kitchen or enjoy a home cooked meal which are offered every day or have something from our snack menu. In the vicinity are some great highlights! Hazyview is part of the Panorama Route that goes to God's Window, Pelgrim's Rest or the stunning Bourke's Potholes. Of course we can’t forget the Kruger National Park, 1 km away from the lodge. Walks and drives can be organized and it will be an memorable experience. Transfers can be organised from Nelspruit and even Johannesburg. Accommodation Description: When staying with us in you can just chill out in our lovely grounds near our pool deciding what to chow at the restaurant or which beer best suits the occasion. Accommodation is great value for dorms or a bush house (en suite bath n toilet / wc) with a minimum of two per house. Camping is as well offered. If you are flying into Jo'burg you can get one of two buses that leave DIRECTLY from the airport to either White River or Nelspruit. Theses are the Lowveld Link and the Citi Bug. Simply tell us when you are arriving and JHB airport and we can arrange the most handy for you. There are slightly cheaper coaches but these involve getting to Jo'burg bus station, (so please check with us). You can as well choose the Baz Bus, South Africa's dedicated backpacker bus.If you are coming from Swaziland direction the Baz Bus is your best option... more >>
