Accommodation Description: Zum Siebertal and Gecko Pub, in the middle of the Harz Mountains. Our vicinity is in a National park, which has wild deer, boar and other animals,roaming freely in the nearby forest. All room rates include breakfast (Except our dorm). Our rooms have forest views, and personal bathrooms. perfect for Hikers, writers, Artists, Photographers, Musicians, and travelers who like to visit a inclusively natural vicinity of Germany amenities include our Gecko Cafe bar, with inexpensive Drinks, laundry, linen, web access,sky Television, and a grounds, looking over the Hills. European and International food is offered, at budget prices.(from May 2005) Our Gecko pub and grounds is a meeting point for students, locals, and visitors in the vicinity. We as well rent bikes to discover the Hills in our region. Summer things to do include Mountain biking, hilking and walking, open air swimming, and treking in the nearby forest. There are 150km of hilking and walking tracks, in the forest nearby Sieber. Sieber is a Hikers bliss. The vicinity is as well well known for its rich folklore, farming and mountain myths. which includes witchcraft. There is an open air swimming pool, five few minutes from our visitorhouse, as well as the forest. In July there is a three day open air rock festival, Rock Harz a short distance from our visitorhouse. Tickets can be booked through us. We as well have a lively cafe-bar, that can open late with inexpensive local drinks.,and a personal visitor room with sky Television. We speak several languages between us, which include English, Spanish, Indonesian and German. We are regular travellers ourselves so we know what our visitors are looking for! Nightly rates start from 10 Euro per night, in our dorm (4 beds plus bathroom) We as well offer a free pick up service from Herzberg am Harz station (Before 17hrs) Discounts for group and Party reservations.. more >>
