A quick trip to town highlights such as Powell's books, Old town, Weekend marketplace, Washington Park, Willamette River PRomenade, etc. It's the ideal blend of urban pulse and welcoming attitude. No lockout or curfew, & late arrivals offered with prior arrangement. High-speed web access kiosk offered, as well as free wirele and cabled systems for laptops. Free local telephone, free linens, free parking. Lockers and a laundry machine are offered, too. Tours are offered from the hostel to the Columbia Gorge, Mt. St. Helens, Whale Watching, Historic Portland, and others.
