Hollydene Lodge HOSTEL Hobart Description
Hollydene Lodge is one of Hobart's oldest, historic buildings. It has been run as a visitor house since it was built in 1835. Today we continue to follow the tradition of a warm welcome and welcoming service for travelers from all around the world. An open fire place and a piano in the common room add to the outstanding ambience of our accommodation. Within five few minutes walking distance you will find Hobart's docks with numerous pubs, cafes and restaurants serving fresh seafood. Our visitors can go sailing or take a day cruise to Port Arthur Historic site or the Cadbury Chocolate Factory. Another five few minutes walking and you will find the famous Salamanca marketplaces. You can ask at reception about the many local tours and things to do which includes diving, abseiling and three to seven day tours of Tasmania which all pick up from Hollydene Lodge.
