Hostel/Pension V Podzamci is a snug haven in the big town for backpackers looking for a home away from home. It can offer you double rooms with double beds, triple rooms, quads and a dorm. All beds come with clean sheets, duvets and fluffy pillows - real beds with comforters - no bunk beds! Even if you choose quads or dorm you can be sure you will sleep well in our large and airy rooms. Next to the kitchen for our visitors there is a cosy common room where you can watch sky channels on Television, come here for eating, talking, reading, playing games or just sharing travel experiences with other visitors. There is as well a pleasant grounds with a terrace for unwindation or barbecue parties (on request). Our English-speaking staff are very welcoming and will be able to help you in whatever you need. Here you can buy town maps, postcards, hot and cold drinks, tickets for public transportation and more. Some of the services we provide for free include a book exchange, games and hairdryers. Last but not least, we provide a pleasant, easy going, unwinding and international ambience without any youth hostel rules, memberships etc. We are able to organize one day trips for you (if there are minimal 8 people interested) - hilking and walking, swimming, spelunking and more in the countryside nearby Prague - for about 500CZK (app. 17 euros). Part of the staff is as well our housecat - to cuddle. Even though the hostel is not situated in the historical part of the town it is within walking distance of the metro and very acce ible near bus.
