The Sleepy Lion is the very first independent hostel for backpackers in Leipzig. situated right in the middle of the town, we are close to theatres, clubs, bars, museums, attractions, shopping centers and the main rail station. Every room comes with its own shower and toilet / wc. The bar and reception are open 24/7, we serve breakfast till noon for only €3, we have free table soccer and cheap web access acce – we are simply backpacker-welcoming! And the best thing is that you can travel the town on our fantastic Swi army bikes which we hire to you for only €5 a day. There are not many german cities where you can do windsurfing, sailing, diving, kite-surfing and other water sports. Just a 20 few minutes ride from the town center near car or public transport you can do it in Leipzig and right at two big lakes: Lake Kulkwitz and lake Cospuden, vegetated surface minings.
