The Point Loma Hostelling International Hostel is situated a mile from San Diego's famous Ocean beach / sea in the unwinded neighborhood of Point Loma. We are the only hostel that has easy, acce ible and free parking. We are as well the only family welcoming hostel in San Diego. Ocean beach / sea and its accompanying nightlife, cafes, restaurants, shops and weekly Farmer’s marketplace are just a short stroll away. nearbynear Sea World and Mi ion Bay are just a 5 minute drive or 20 minute bus ride away. Balboa Park, with its museums and the ma ive San Diego Zoo, and Downtown San Diego are 10 or 30 few minutes away near car and bus respectively. The hostel features a laid-back ambience with a striking, sunny courtyard inclusive with table tennis, a fire pit, and plenty of spots to unwind. There is as well a large, open kitchen that’s ideal for cooking and sharing your favorite meals and a comfy, roomy lounge with a big screen Television and DVD player. inexpensive web access acce is offered as well as a wirele connection. Weekly supers, barbecues, and movie nights are conducted near helpful hostel staff. A selection of dorms, personal and family rooms are offered. *Please note that the listed prices reflect member rates. Memberships are sold at the hostel, but are not required for stay.
