The Copacabana is a hotel open to the sea, right on the Atlantic; an establishment with a nautical flavor; but situated right in the middle of the town of Havana. Since 1957, the Copacabana has been part of the exclusive Miramar district in the western vicinity of Havana, the capital of Cuba. In l992, it was remodeled and expanded. Its architecture, situated right on the coastal, is attractive and functional. The rooms are simple and very relaxing. The Copacabana features a natural pool directly connected to the ocean, as well as a freshwater pool. It is fully equipped for practicing all sort of nautical sports. Most of its 168 rooms overlook the sea and all are service near highly dedicated staff. With their usually tropical ambience, the Copacabana’s installations all have Brazilian names. Some of the most characteristic are the usual and pleasant Itapoa and Tuc n restaurants, the Caipirinha snack bar, and the widely known Ipanema discotheque. The Copacabana is a hotel with a nautical flavor, providing the Atlantic right in the town. Its position on main thoroughfares such as the Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue) makes it very easy to reach in just a few few minutes.
