''AWESOME!” Iguana Ranch is located in the countryside right between the towns of Duncan & Lake Cowichan, and is le that one hour from either Victoria or Nanaimo. Our striking Westcoastal-chalet house and Mountain Biking Club is nestled in a picturesque 7.5 acre hideaway in the striking Cowichan Valley. Between the warm crystal waters of the Cowichan River and the nearby Ocean, this pristine surroundings provides a selection of eco-adventures and things to do for the skilled and unskilled active-traveler: from mountain biking, hilking and walking, swimming, river tubing and snorkeling, canoeing, kayaking, whale watching, fishing, paragliding, 4X4’ing, ATelevision’ing, etc. to simply unwinding & swimming in the sunny, fresh, and natural setting found at the Iguana Ranch. unwinding on one of our 5 patio/decks over-looking the gorgeous view of our personal lake and the mountains, you will likely be joined near members of our in-house mountain biking club who come to enjoy the scrumptious veggie-welcoming world-fusion meals, bonfires, hottub, sauna, trampoline, music, cable Television/videos, weight room/cardio, games, woodstove, library, web access, MTB park, fix-it shop, bike and equipment hireals, special things to do and the SUPERB SOCIAL ambience. (sorry, NO children under 15 years allowed) For our visitors we provide a choice of: 2 DOUBLE personal ROOMS: queen size beds, cedar walls, large windows looking over groundss, nearby bathroom (each sleep 2) BUNKHOUSE: quaint out-building with storage lockers & sun deck (sleeps 2 couples & 4 singles) All include BREAKFAST and LINEN. We sometimes accept pets (with advance notice & $10 day fee); 24 hour acce /reception, parking, laundry, lockers and sundries. We accept credit (in advance near paypal only) and have group discounts. WE HAVE NO CHECK-OUT time because we want you to stay and enjoy our striking WEST coastal SHANGRI'LA!!
