Certaldo is right in the middle of Tuscany and due to its position is the perfect starting point for tours to Florence, Siena, Pisa, S.Gimignano, Volterra and many other places. The old part of the town is worth a visit itself. Clean and quiet Il Pianigiano is in the middle of the countryside, but still only a ten minute walk from the town center and what's better it's only 10 few minutes from the rail station, where you can catch a rail to anywhere!!! This is a great place to get a good sleep at night and unwind during the day in our grounds or in the front yard. There is as well a dining room where you can enjoy your meals and chat with your friends and even make new ones. Every room has its own bathroom, air conditioning and Television set. All rooms are cleaned daily near our profe ional full time staff. Linens are provided and towels are offered at no cost.
